We provide two integration options depending on what your payroll service offers. Reach out to your payroll provider to find out if they support one of these two integration options.

Automated Payroll Sync Overview

You can fully integrate your payroll through Payroll Integrations Inc., a third-party service that connects CalSavers with a growing list of participating payroll providers. Paychex and TJH Payroll also offer their own direct 360° integrations with CalSavers.

Payroll Integrations Inc. Integration Overview

Payroll Integrations Inc. is a third-party company that securely connects CalSavers with a wide range of payroll providers through a 360° integration for a monthly fee.* The fee for this service is based on the number of active employees making contributions.

* If you use Paychex or TJH Hull for payroll services, please refer to the instructions in the “Learn More About Paychex and TJH Payroll Integration” section.

Paychex and TJH Integration Overview

Paychex and TJH Payroll offer their own direct 360° integrations with CalSavers, allowing employee contribution information to be securely transmitted automatically between your payroll provider and CalSavers.

Pricing and setup support for these services are managed directly by the payroll provider. For pricing details, please contact your provider directly.

Payroll File Upload (180° integration) Overview

Some payroll providers have the option to upload files to CalSavers with a 180° connection. With this access, you would need to send updated employee contribution rates to your payroll provider prior to each pay date. Then the payroll provider uploads the employee payroll file to CalSavers.
